Hello all! You now have until May 15 to submit your classes for the Pennsic book. I've noticed some of the usual suspects have not yet submitted classes (although I understand the person in charge of scheduling is wading her way through about 100 classes, so it could be that they're in but I don't have them yet). Get those classes in...the sooner the better!

FYI the following days are filled up already:
Fri, 7/31
Mon, 8/3
Thurs, 8/6

Some of the other days only have one or two open hours left and classes get scheduled as they come in.

I've submitted, and I'm sorry I was late! Bad old Chancellor! :(
In better news: The "period belly dance" classes for Pennsic are starting to be shaped; I'll have a web site for interested folks in the next few weeks!

Christina, is there a subject that is lacking in particular?

The only huge omission I see right now is zills. I thought Zi'ah was going to teach her Zill Drill and Zillmania, but I haven't seen a class submission for them yet. There are also no veil classes, but with a shift in focus to more period or at least traditional forms of Mid-East dance, this doesn't surprise me. Here's some of what we *do* have:

        **dance classes**
        Beginner classes
        Intermediate technique
        Advanced technique
        Isolation drills
        Shimmy and layering drills
        Saiidi series
        Turkish/Rromany 9/8
Sword (and other balancing props) technique
        Sword choreography
        Dancing from period illustrations
        Making your dance more period
        Dancers & musicians working together
        Fitness for dancers
        Folk dance fusion
        Folkloric Egyptian dance
        Persian dance
        Fan Veils
        Campfire/hafla improvisation
        Baratanayam
        Turkish dance
        Rhythms for dancers
        West African Dance
        Regal bellydance: technique and attitude
        ME dance round table

        **music classes**
        Drumming for all levels
        West African drumming
        Musicians and dancers working together
        Taqsim
        Riq
        Oud
Melody class--Aziza and other tough tunes

        **other classes**
        Henna party
Kama Sutra for men and women (separate classes)
Period dance and non-dace garb classes
        Teachings of Muhammed
History and stories of the Djinn
        History of felt making

There may be more "other classes" because I'm not scheduling the classes that will be in the regular A&S tents. Still, there's a lot to choose from already!!
