Hey there. Thought I would post this and get it out there. The weekend of the 11th of July the Midrealm is having it's Clancy Day event. And I am holding my hafla there this year instead of at the usual event due to scheduling conflicts for myself. I really want to make this fun and HUGE. After all, a big hafla is a fun hafla.

This is a call out for drummers, dancers, even folks that play with fire. Water and snacks will be provided as always. If you should have any questions, please let me know. Being as the hafla is on a Saturday night, all are welcome to camp in our little hafla area. Just let me know. I have posted event details below. Looking forward to seeing you all there.


Clancy Day will be held at Camp Rotary, in Ray Township. It is about 45 minutes from Downtown Detroit, as well as Sarnia, ON, about 1.5 hours from Ann Arbor, and 2 hours from Lansing. Attend a local Pentamere event, stay for the weekend, and save gas money while still having lots of SCA fun!

The site features plenty of space for all of our planned activities, as well as camping!

Site will open at 5pm on Friday, July 10th. Troll will remain open until midnight, then reopen at 8am on Saturday.

Site closes noon on Sunday, July 12th.

The site is pet friendly (all pets must be kept on leashes, and their messes cleaned up promptly!). The site is also DISCRETELY DAMP. Please hide all mundane alcohol containers and clean up your bottlecaps!

There are flush toilets on site, but no showers are available.

Merchanting will be outdoors, with no additional merchant fees above site and camping fees. Please bring your own tables and shade.
