Greetings! The Barony of Cynnabar is hosting it's annual dance event on Saturday, March 28: terpsichore.cynnabar.org/. There will be Middle Eastern and European dance and music classes all day, with a Grand Ball and Hafla in the evening--plus our famous dessert revel. Lunch and dinner taverns will be available, and there are some good restaurants within close walking distance.
If anyone is interested in teaching a ME dance or music class, please contact me as soon as possible. Some of the classes we have lined up already: Morning warm-up, Intro to ME dance, Beginner and Intermediate ME drumming, Intro to ME music, and Improvisational Dance. Please note we will have a performance section at the hafla (great for beginners!), followed by open dancing with music by real live musicians ;-)
